Customer Service Specialist

Position Overview

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative who enjoys working with people to build connections with and help our potential and existing customers. You will be providing exceptional customer service at all times while establishing rapport and communicating with our customers via phone, email or social media. You will be the primary contact for customers interested in services that we offer and will be responsible for setting appointments for our sales team while performing other general office administrative duties.

An excellent Customer Service Representative must be able to create great first impression and WOW customers over the phone or email by following procedures. The ideal candidate will have effective listening and communication skills, as well as a desire to learn about our industry. The goal is to provide unforgettable customer service to create long lasting memories and relationships.

Description of Duties

  • Manage and convert inbound call lead opportunities into scheduled sales appointments

  • Answer a high volume of incoming calls to billing department.
  • Process operations cases and activate subscriptions.
  • Process cancellation cases including removing or cancelling subscriptions per cancellation requests and performing final billing.
  • Process upgrade/downgrade cases.
  • Run Bill runs and Payment runs daily. Print and email all invoices as applicable.
  • Post checks and deposit daily, including remote deposit and verification of totals.
  • Take cash deposits to the bank as needed.
  • Generate unapplied credit memo and unapplied payment reports and apply as needed prior to collections processing.
  • Run aging report and place calls to customers regarding past due accounts.
  • Create payment arrangements with past-due customers, including creating payment arrangement cases.
  • Process shutdowns with re-connect fees, disable IP and suspend subscription.
  • Process pre-collection and final notices as necessary.
  • Prepare assignment paperwork for unresolved past due accounts to be sent to the collections agency.
  • Update customer contact information (names, phone numbers, email, billing address) when needed.
  • Provide for accurate filing of billing paperwork.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • High School Education or comparable knowledge and experience.
  • 3 years of experience in billing, preferably subscription billing.
  • Knowledge of accounting and compliance requirements.
  • Advanced skill in communicating orally and in writing.
  • Intermediate skills in accounting processes.
  • Self-starter who takes ownership and responsibility for timely reporting, projects, and initiatives.
  • Must be process-oriented, with the ability to work on multiple projects in a rapid-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.

Field Technician 

PositionOverview

Installs and maintains wireless antennas, routers and other various types of radios, customer premise equipment in a field environment while being directly in charge of job safety and completion

Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Flexibility to work hours necessary to meet company and customer requirements.

Maintain paperwork and field tickets for billing purposes.

Perform installation, adjustment, advanced troubleshooting and repair of wireless RF antennas and other transport-related equipment throughout Urban and Rural wireless environments.

The Wireless RF Technician is expected to perform duties with moderate supervision while contributing to all aspects of delivering quality service to the company’s customers and supports
other departments’ efforts to improve customer experience.

Climb poles, ladders and communication towers for installation of wireless antennas. Must be able to move extension ladder from a company vehicle to work site etc.

In addition to strong electronic and RF skills, a solid Networking background is required, up to and including LAN, WAN, WLAN, configuration management, etc.

Tools and equipment used in the installation, and maintenance of electronic communications equipment.

Requirements:

  • Must have at least A+, N+ certification or Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, routing, firewalls
  • Experience with Microsoft server 2003/2008R2/2012/2016 and desktop operating systems Windows 7/10.
  • Knowledge with computer troubleshooting.
  •  Must have a valid D.L.
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be flexible (Job may require some weekend work and holiday)
  • Must be able to follow directions
  • Must be able to get along with others
  • Must be comfortable with heights (20 -300 feet)Must be able to drive a van (left handed)

Jr. Network Administrator, Wireless RF

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining, administering, monitoring, and troubleshooting computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations
  • Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when required
  • Focusing efforts on integrating Wireless LAN solutions
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and manage wireless access points
  • Knowledge Routing and Networking Protocols
  • Operating master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems
  • Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot WLAN hardware OS/Firmware
  • Maintaining, administering, monitoring, and troubleshooting the transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, RF, and operation of fixed wireless Internet, telecommunication systems
  • Basic knowledge of virtualization (VMware is preferred)
  • Test circuits and components of malfunctioning telecommunications equipment to isolate sources of malfunctions, using test meters, circuit diagrams, polarity probes, and other hand tools
  • Climb poles and ladders, communication towers use truck-mounted booms and enter areas such as cable vaults to install, maintain, or inspect the equipment
  • Assemble and install communication equipment such as data and telephone communication lines, wiring, switching equipment, wiring frames, power apparatus, computer systems, and networks
  • Test repaired, newly installed, or updated equipment to ensure that it functions properly and conforms to specifications, using test equipment and observation

Job Requirement

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience (degree, work experience, relevant certifications)
  • Thorough understanding of LAN and WAN technologies
  • Troubleshooting & Configuration Experience with routing protocols
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. At least three years’ experience in the fixed-wireless  or job-related area, such as structured wiring (e.g., new construction electrical, low voltage wiring,
    home entertainment system wiring); field service installation and repair in voice technology (telephone); data (Internet), or video (RF/cable)
  • Tower climbing knowledge is a plus. Ability to work required shifts, overtime, and respond to emergency issues (as necessary) Working knowledge of networking and electronics; electrical codes and standards relative to residential or commercial communications cablingWorking
    knowledge of RF wireless technologies, IP networking, and wireless planning. Working Conditions Employee is required to be mobile, use tools, ladders, and other relevant equipment.
  • Must possess physical conditioning and stamina and perform physically demanding tasks at such heights.
  • Must be able to frequently climb a ladder and work in an elevated position.
  • On a constant basis, must safely lift, carry and manoeuvre heavy or awkward objects 100 pounds or more, with or without assistance.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close up, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception and
    the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to work safely in a field or office environment.
